Deleting your data

Breizh VOIP app for Android (com.breizh.voip)

App and publisher concerned

This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it.

  • App: Breizh VOIP (package com.breizh.voip), published on Google Play.
  • Publisher: BREIZH VOIP, association, SIREN 821039971, 4 rue Descartes, 29480 Le Relecq-Kerhuon, France.
  • Contact: [email protected]
  • Your account is created and administered by your company: it is the data controller, while BREIZH VOIP acts as a processor under the GDPR.

How to request deletion of your data

Two ways, whichever suits you. The app does not allow account creation, so requests go through one of these two channels.

  • By email: write to [email protected] from your account email address, with the subject « Deletion of my data ». Include your name, the account email address and your company name.
  • Through your administrator: your company's telephony administrator can delete your account and the associated data from their administration area.
  • Nothing else is required: no form to fill in, no fee, and no document beyond verifying your identity.

Data that is deleted

Deleting the account erases the following data:

  • Account and credentials: name, email address, extension number, login identifiers.
  • Profile picture.
  • Team messaging messages, attachments and voice messages you sent.
  • Messages left on your voicemail, together with their transcriptions and summaries.
  • App favourites and preferences synchronised with your account.
  • Your device's notification token.
  • Active sessions and login history: IP address, device, approximate location derived from the IP address.

Data that is retained, and for how long

Some data cannot be erased immediately:

  • Call metadata (number called or calling, date, duration): kept for the duration of the contract between your company and BREIZH VOIP, as it supports its billing and belongs to it. It is then deleted or anonymised.
  • Call or video meeting recordings, where your company has enabled that feature: they belong to your company and stay on its infrastructure. Deleting them is up to its administrator.
  • Data required by law: billing and security obligations applicable to electronic communications may require longer retention, limited to what the law provides for.
  • Encrypted backups: your data may remain in backups until they rotate, that is at most 30 days after deletion.

Processing time

Your request is handled within 30 days of receipt at the latest, and you receive an email confirmation once the deletion is done. Should you disagree with the outcome, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

Full privacy policy

Details of the data processed, the purpose of every permission the app requests and your other rights are set out in the mobile app privacy policy, at https://breizhvoip.fr/en/privacy/mobile
