Telemarketing Filter

Detect and filter telemarketing phone numbers. Allows routing differently or automatically rejecting telemarketing calls.

How it works

  1. The system reads the calling number
  2. It matches the first five digits against a list of 70 known cold-calling prefixes
  3. If the prefix matches, the call is flagged as cold calling
  4. The call can then be sent to a dedicated output, or rejected outright
  5. You can add prefixes of your own to the list

Use cases

  • Reject cold calls automatically
  • Send suspicious calls to voicemail
  • Shield your staff from cold calling

What you configure

Cold-calling prefixes
The numeric prefixes used to spot cold-calling numbers. Seventy French prefixes are included by default (+33800, +33801, and so on). The first five digits of the calling number are matched against this list.
Custom prefixes
Extra prefixes to add to the list. They must be in E.164 form, with the leading + (+33899, for instance). Useful for blocking numbers specific to your line of business.

Examples

  • Calls starting with +33800 rejected automatically
  • Suspicious calls sent to a dedicated voicemail box
  • Prefixes of your own added to the blocklist
