HD Video Calls

Switching to video mid-call, with no change of tool and no link to send. The other person accepts, the picture appears, and the conversation carries on. It helps when showing beats describing: an error screen, a part to identify, a document to go through. To bring more than two people together, video meetings take over.

How it works

  1. 1Video is allowed line by line: not every line needs it.
  2. 2During a call, a button offers to switch to video.
  3. 3The picture appears as soon as both sides can receive it, in the browser, on mobile or on the computer.
  4. 4You go back to voice only when the picture is no longer useful, without hanging up.
  5. 5Quality follows the connection, keeping the voice intelligible above all.

Use cases

  • Technical support: seeing the screen or the device rather than having it described.
  • Remote consultation, when the face matters as much as the voice.
  • A quick catch-up between colleagues, without setting up a meeting.
  • Identifying a part or a model, held up to the camera.
  • First contact with a distant customer, putting a face to a voice.

Benefits

  • Video joins a call already in progress, without hanging up.
  • Nothing to install and nothing to send: no link, no invitation.
  • Available in the browser, on mobile and on the computer.
  • Quality adapts to the connection of the moment.
  • Voice takes priority: the picture degrades before it does.
  • Allowed line by line, for the extensions that need it.

Examples

  • An engineer asks to see the error message: the customer switches to video, shows the screen, and the problem is identified in thirty seconds.
  • A customer describes a spare part without knowing its name: they show it, and the reference is found.
