Call Notes

Write during the call what you would have forgotten ten minutes later. The note stays attached to the call and to the contact: next time, you know what was said, what was promised and by whom. It saves the customer from telling the story twice, and the colleague who calls back from starting at zero.

How it works

  1. 1Open the note straight from the call, during or right after the conversation
  2. 2Write up the summary of the exchange
  3. 3The note is attached to the call and to the matching contact
  4. 4Find all of a contact's notes in their history
  5. 5Authorised colleagues see the context before calling back

Use cases

  • Keeping a record of a commitment made on the phone, with its date.
  • Handing over: whoever calls back reads what was said before dialling.
  • Building the history of a customer relationship without buying another tool.
  • Preparing a call back: the note says what to check before picking up the phone.
  • Absence or departure: what a colleague knew about customers does not leave with them.
  • A complaint: the sequence of exchanges reads in one block, in order.

Benefits

  • The note is written during the call, without switching windows.
  • It stays attached to the call and the contact, not to a file that goes missing.
  • A contact's history reads at a glance, in order.
  • The team shares the context: whoever calls back knows where the matter stands.
  • Nothing to install and nothing to sync: it is in the tool you already use.

Examples

  • A customer accepts a quote over the phone: the note keeps the date and the amount, and sales finds it at follow-up.
  • An engineer notes the steps taken with the customer: nobody repeats the explanation next time.
  • A colleague on leave: whoever takes their calls reads the last three exchanges before ringing back.
