Dial by Alias

How it works

1. 1.

   The caller dials an alias number (e.g., 100, 200)

2. 2.

   The system looks up the extension associated with that alias

3. 3.

   The call is routed to the corresponding station

4. 4.

   If the alias does not exist, the call follows the error output

Use cases

• Simplified dialing for employees
• Internal directory by short number
• Routing by station number rather than technical extension
