How it works

1. 1.

   Define the member stations of the ring group

2. 2.

   Choose the strategy: all at once, sequential, random, etc.

3. 3.

   An incoming call rings the stations according to the chosen strategy

4. 4.

   The first station to answer receives the call

5. 5.

   Configure a timeout and an output if no one answers

Use cases

• Sales team: all sales agents ring at the same time
• Support service: sequential ringing to distribute the load
• Management: main station rings first, then secondary

Examples

• Sales group: 3 stations ring simultaneously, 30s timeout to voicemail
• Management group: main station first, then secretary after 15s

Modules in the same category

• Redirect

  Redirect a call to one or more extensions. The system calls all extensions in parallel and the first to answer receives the call.
