Dialplan Redirect
Redirect to another dialplan. Allows creating reusable and modular dialplans by transferring execution to another routing.
How it works
- Pick the destination dialplan
- The call is handed over to the start of that dialplan
- The destination dialplan then runs normally
- This is how you build reusable, modular call flows
Use cases
- Build reusable dialplans
- Break a complex flow into sub-flows
- Keep shared logic in one place
What you configure
- Destination dialplan
- The dialplan to hand the call over to. The call restarts at the beginning of that dialplan and runs normally, which is how you build reusable, modular flows.
Examples
- Build one shared dialplan for handling inbound calls
- Organise dialplans by department: support, sales, and so on
